About Emily

Therapy is a place to reconnect — with yourself, your relationships, and what matters most.

I’m Emily, a psychotherapist and relationship coach dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges with clarity, compassion, and deeper connection. My approach is warm, collaborative, and direct. I meet you where you are — and support you in moving toward where you truly want to be.

As a multicultural, first-generation immigrant and Third Culture Kid, I was born in Australia and raised across Asia, moving every few years before settling in the U.S. That lived experience shaped my understanding of identity, belonging, and emotional resilience — and deeply informs the way I hold space for others.

Before becoming a therapist, I spent a decade leading teams in the social impact world. I’ve always been driven by a desire to help people grow — but I eventually felt called to support change on a more personal level. That’s what led me to the work I do now.

Approach

I believe in a holistic, integrative approach to therapy and healing — one that honors the emotional, physical, relational, and spiritual aspects of each person’s experience. I support clients in working through everything from anxiety, life transitions, and relationship challenges to deeper questions of identity, purpose, and belonging.

My work draws from:

  • Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) – to repair relational ruptures and build secure emotional bonds

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS) – to explore and heal inner parts

  • Hakomi Somatic Psychotherapy – to attune to the body’s wisdom

  • Gestalt Therapy – emphasizing present-moment awareness

  • Grounding in Buddhist practice and Transcendental Meditation – to bring mindfulness and spiritual depth
